ANN NYOKABI

Working in Kenya

Ann Nyokabi has been a partner with us for the last 3 years. She is the Director of the Matumaini Rehabilitation Centre, which is a haven for young people with disabilities who are given the chance to flourish and reach their potential.

But Ann had a rough start in life, being orphaned at a young age and, for many years, she lived at the Matumaini Centre, calling it her home. She schooled in the local area before graduating and going to university.

Now she is back as the director of the centre that supported her through those hard years.

Ann is resilient and fearless, with a wonderful loving heart for the 65 disabled children under her care. She has a strong vision mixed with an entrepreneurial and adventurous spirit which is always striving for the best, finding ways to make the centre self-sustaining and helping young people reach their potential.

We are looking for a team to support her in this endeavour - she needs around £200 ($250) a month to provide for her family; she has a daughter who has disabilities which brings additional costs.

If you feel you would like to be part of her prayer support team or give financially, please choose an option above. If you are in the USA, then please give through our partner organisation using this link.
