No one fights injustice alone. We had the privilege of joining representatives from organizations and government agencies at a dinner organized by what is growing into the world’s largest anti-trafficking network. To be in a room filled with people committed to dismantling exploitation and oppression was deeply encouraging. There are no easy fixes, no quick solutions, but together we are part of something bigger—a holy resistance to the forces that seek to dehumanize and destroy. It may seem like a small group, but we left feeling wildly encouraged and proud to be a part of this movement, so strategic and intelligent in its response to the nefarious industry of sexual exploitation.
